I wouldn't put it past him to either just not realize they're a Thing even if it gets super-obvious to people who aren't Kalen or to lock himself in the room even if he does know. Can you tell I do not have a high opinion of him? (Partial) genetic engineering doesn't prevent you from being a total fuckface!
