I wish he could, too. I originally wrote these stories so out of order that I was usually still half mad at him for later stuff even when I wrote him being happy or nice in the earlier chapters. It kinda hurts doing them in order like this. :\

Thanks so much. I realized when I did the rewrite of the first chapter that I kind of shortchanged Kalen by not sharing more of what's going on with him throughout the book, so I'm trying to bring that out a little more. It's harder, because he's not as vocal in my head as some of the other characters. So I'm glad if that's coming through some.
