I'm going to die of happy, because I am ridiculously character-driven as both a reader and a writer. There are a few things that are almost universally loved in the geek community that I just cannot care about because the characters aren't well-developed enough that nothing else matters to me. Of course, I'm trying to come up with an example now and drawing a blank.

Trying to write a novel with any sort of continuity while being character-driven sometimes like banging my head against a wall repeatedly. Comments like yours make me want to keep trying anyway. <3
