The thing is, I'm the world's slowest writer and I suck at writing for a deadline. I have started so many fiction pieces for Idol and had them not come together enough in time (and I can count on, like, three fingers the number of fiction pieces I actually was satisfied with when I posted them this season - this was one of them because I actually liked it when I was done). So then I'm stuck with the option of slapping something else together at the last minute or posting something I think is crappy.
I didn't want to do that this week, especially with the Gatekeepers we didn't even end up having (I sooooo called this, lol).

Um, so the thing with the Manips is that I don't totally know what they are yet, either. I know where they come from and some of the things they can do (manipulate people's perceptions, and I think the extent to which they can do that depends on their level of ability).
The boy on the table would be Number Six if he made it into the Program, but I'm not sure he does. Based on the timeframe when I think this occurs, I think he doesn't. :\
And awww... if you saw how much freaking out and editing and general fail is involved in the production of any of my writing (like, anything fiction) you would not feel inadequate. :)
